wife and I began work with Darwin at the very beginning of
our log home construction process. Even before we had house
plans approved we spoke with and visited Darwin in
Vancouver. Darwin was very helpful during all stages of
design and construction. Even though we were unable to make
another trip to Vancouver during the construction process,
Darwin sent complete sets of pictures each week detailing
all progress of the log shell. Finally the day arrived and
on-site construction began. Darwin had the process
organized with detailed instructions. Darwin and Gabe
stayed at our home during the week long log stack and we had
a wonderful time. Having both Darwin and Gabe there during
both construction phases was a highlight of the process.
The home turned out to be even more than we first
envisioned. The quality of construction, the process, and
the log stack support was all as Darwin had said it would be
at the very beginning of our search for a log provider. We
